USJ Vice-Rector, Professor Álvaro Barbosa, presented as a guest lecturer at the Edutech Roundtable for Southeast Asia on “Modernizing the University curriculum and enhancing student employability” on March 23rd, 2022.
Professor Álvaro Barbosa, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Strategic Development of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), presented and participated as a guest lecturer at the Edutech Roundtable for Southeast Asia on “Modernizing the University curriculum and enhancing student employability” based on online learning, on March 23rd, 2022
The event, sponsored by Coursera, invited Professor Barbosa to discuss the implementation of Coursera Campus at USJ, as well as the experience of USJ on the compatibility of University curriculum with international standards (ECTS and Bologna), Internships, post-pandemic blended learning, flipped classroom, staff development, applied research in partnership with the Industry, academic business incubation and entrepreneurship, the role of Culture Social Sciences and Humanities in tech, students and staff mentoring and International exchange.
