Professor George Du Delivers Keynote Speech at 2024 International Industry-University-Research Cooperation Conference in Hainan

The Forum was co-hosted by the Center of College Planning, Construction, and Development of the Ministry of Education of China, the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, and Hainan University.
Professor George Du, Dean of the Institute for Data Engineering and Sciences (IDEAS) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) was invited to deliver a keynote address at the Electronic Information Technology Sub-Forum of the 2024 International Industry-University-Research Cooperation Conference, held from 13 to 16 December at the Yantai Hotel in Haikou and Hainan University.
The Forum was co-hosted by the Center of College Planning, Construction, and Development of the Ministry of Education of China, the Hainan Provincial Department of Education, and Hainan University, and it brought together over 150 renowned experts, scholars, and business leaders from both domestic and international backgrounds. The Forum aimed to enhance educational openness and foster collaboration between Chinese universities, research institutions, and enterprises, as well as their international partners in education, science, and technology.
On the second day of the Forum, Professor Du presented his report titled “Technical Issues of Artificial Intelligence Enabling Home Health Care” at the School of Information and Communication Engineering at Hainan University. His presentation was well-received by an audience of more than 200 experts, educators, and graduate students, highlighting the relevance and importance of AI in advancing home health care solutions.
