The Saint Joseph Seminary Library blessing ceremony was held on the 1st of December, 2021.
The Saint Joseph Seminary Library went through a substantial renovation project to provide optimal conditions to its readers and increase the storage capacity for its collection.
A blessing ceremony presided by His Excellency D. Lee Bun Sang, Stephen, Chancellor of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and Bishop of Macao, was held on the 1st of December, 2021, to mark this special occasion in the life of the University.
USJ rector, Reverend Prof. Stephen Morgan mentioned in his opening speech that The Saint Joseph Seminary Library will soon be the library with the largest number of collections of religious studies and philosophy in Asia.
This Library will be an essential academic and cultural asset for Macao and a vital tool to develop the University’s teaching and researching activities in Religion, History, Philosophy, Art and the humanities in general.
