This farewell party allowed students and staff to collectively review the past and look forward to the future.

Organized by Catholic Foundation for Higher Education – University of Saint Joseph and with the assistance of the Office for Students and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) and the generous sponsorship of the Macao Foundation, Vice-rector Dr. Teresa Loong and Dean of the School of Education (SED) Prof. Rochelle Ge led a warm farewell party for the Bachelor of Education’s graduating students on Tuesday evening, May 14.

At the event, attendees enjoyed meticulously prepared food, adding a touch of warmth and joy to this special moment. Following this, Prof. Susannah Sun, Coordinator of the Bachelor of Education Programme, hosted an interactive session. She invited Class of 2019’s graduate representative Jess Cheang Pui U to share her job hunting and teaching experiences as a full-time teacher. Prof. Sun then asked the year 4 students to share their university life, learning journey, and the challenges they faced. This session not only allowed graduates to reflect on their growth and achievements but also provided valuable learning and inspiration for the attending students.

This farewell party was not only a heartfelt blessing for the students about to graduate but also a warm gathering for the School of Education, allowing students and staff to collectively review the past and look forward to the future. We look forward to seeing these students continue to shine and contribute their wisdom and strength to society as they embark on new journeys.
