A delegation of teachers from Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee Kung Yik She Primary School in Hong Kong visited the USJ’s Ilha Verde Campus on October 20th, 2023.
A delegation of teachers from Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee Kung Yik She Primary School in Hong Kong visited the University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) Ilha Verde Campus on October 20th, 2023. During their visit, they explored the various campus facilities such as the Holy Cross Chapel, Kent Wong Gallery, and the department of creative industry’s classrooms including the design and audiovisual studios on the sixth floor of the academic building.
Following the tour, the School of Education (SED) at USJ extended a warm welcome to the visiting group.
During her presentation, Dean of SED, Prof. Rochelle Ge, provided insights into Macao’s education system and emphasized the distinctive qualities of the faculty. Prof. Isabel Tchiang, Director of Teachers’ Development Professional Centre (TPDC) at USJ, also presented on Non-Tertiary Education in Macao and the mission of the TPDC. The visit culminated in an agreement to foster future collaborations between the two institutions.
