Students from the Bachelor of Architectural Studies received a sharing session from the director and architects of the international architectural engineering firm P&T (Macau) Limited.
On the 3rd of May 2022, the P&T Group Director in Macao Mr. Johnathan Wong, did a sharing session with students of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies Programme at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), with many graduating this year.
Through the sharing session, Mr. Wong introduced the history of P&T Group and its award winning projects in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao, followed by two local case studies to illustrate how the architectural engineering firm successfully solved its clients’ problems with innovative approaches.
Also present at the sharing session was Mr. Manuel Lai, Senior Associate from the P&T (Macau) Limited, who introduced the roles and responsibilities of an architect with the workflow of a typical local Macao project so that the students can get an expectation of their future encounters as professional architects.
Among the participants present at the session were also P&T Group Miss Jodie Kuan, Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Architecture Studies Prof. Nuno Soares, Senior Lecturer Filipe Afonso from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Director of the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs Ms. Teresa Loong.
