The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) participated on the Asian University Virtual Friendship Games organised by the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC).
Higher education institutions from all over the world are faced with unprecedented challenges with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic nowadays. The condition hampers the continued implementation of the internationalisation activity among others. In this respect, the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) organised the Asian University Virtual Friendship Games and invited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) to participate. It is an initiative to continue the collaboration and networking activities with other partner universities in the ASEAN region amidst the current condition. It aims to promote friendship and camaraderie among university students, and provide an opportunity for them to interact and showcase their culture and talents.
Miss Lau do Rosário Lúcia, Year 3 student from Bachelor of Education Programme, was nominated to join the e-COOL-tural competition: Vocal Solo.

The activity succeeded in bringing together all students to learn from one another, share experiences, exchange ideas, celebrate their individuality, showcase their craft, enjoy their talents, discover other culture and make it a catalyst to define new trends in education specifically in the areas of student activities.
