The first school visit of the School-based training on Inclusive Education Course of the Teachers’ Professional Development Centre to Escola Dom João Paulino was successfully conducted.
On June 17, 2023, Colégio Diocesano de São José 3 commissioned the first school-based Inclusive Education Course undertaken by the Teachers’ Professional Development Centre of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ). The course included a visit to Escola Dom João Paulino, led by Prof. Frances Lai Mui Lee from the USJ School of Education.
Participants explored ways to enhance support and resources for students with special needs. This exchange facilitated a greater understanding of the challenges faced by exceptional students and paved the way for future improvements in the school’s special education programs.
