USJ held an outdoor live concert featuring performances by Ryan Carroll, IAT & Gabriel, Matte. ET., Sax Experience, Ari & The Gabion Sister, and the USJ Music Club.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) held a live and in-campus music event on 19 November 2021, as part of the USJ’s 25th-anniversary activities series.
UFest! Live Concert, co-organised by This Is My City, featured live music performances by five distinct local bands, including Ryan Carroll, IAT & Gabriel, Matte. ET., Sax Experience, Ari & The Gabion Sister, plus the USJ Music Club.
Students and staff members sat back and enjoyed the live music of various styles and tempos in the outdoor setting of Eric Mo Central Garden in Ilha Verde Campus.
The UFest! Live Concert was one of the outcomes of the innovative initiative “UFest Create Your Own Festival!“, an event management workshop held a week before the concert. The workshop offered a training and mentoring programme for creating festivals, by the founder of the Cultural Association +853, Mr. Manuel Correia da Silva, to the USJ student community.
