The core objectives of this collaboration are to jointly undertake teaching and training programmes, research projects, and initiatives related to community engagement.
The University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ) and the Universidade Jean Piaget de Cabo Verde in Polo do Mindelo, Cape Verde, represented by Vice-Rector Álvaro Barbosa and Pro-Rector Inês Alves respectively, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 16 January 2024 for strategic collaboration. The signing took place remotely.
This collaboration aims to deepen mutual relations and facilitate personnel exchanges between the two universities through academic, scientific, and technological activities, in particular, short-term and exchange programmes; joint research, scientific meetings, and conferences; cooperation in new or existing courses; exchange of faculty and supporting staff members; joint supervision of doctoral theses; exchange of scientific materials, publications, and information.
The signing of this MOU marks a significant step towards contributing to the academic community and society.
