This year’s World Translation Contest attracted 211 teams and more than 500 participants from 50 universities from Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. The award ceremony took place online on September 23rd at 17:00 Macau time, due to the epidemic.

Prof. Lídia Zhou Mengyuan, Head of Department of Languages and Culture of Faculty of Arts and Humanities led three of our students, Catarina Choi Weng Kuan, Ana Tam Wai U and Tomaz Medvedec Vilela Dionísio, to participate in the competition. The team won the second-place prize in the “Special Award for Macao Universities Teams” among the more than 200 teams.
