The Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the USJ and the School of Media Design of the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (UEH), will launch a combined double-degree programme in the new academic year 2023/2024.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) and the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), enabling both institutions to explore prospects in a joint partnership between USJ’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities and UEH’s School of Media Design.
The agreement was formally signed on June 30, 2023, by Professor Álvaro Barbosa, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs at USJ, and Assoc. Prof. Trinh Thuy Anh, Dean of the School of Media Design of UEH. Prof. Sử Đình Thành, President of UEH, and Dr. Dinh Cong Khai, Vice President of UEH were also present at the signing ceremony.
This newly formed cooperation was developed with the objective of creating a double-degree curriculum combining the Bachelor of Communication and Media programme at USJ and the Bachelor of Digital Media and Multimedia Design programme at UEH. Students from both institutions will be allowed to study for two years at each University and after completing the four years of study, students will be awarded with two degrees from both USJ and UEH.
The new double-degree programme is expected to begin implementation in the new academic year 2023-2024.
