USJ was invited to participate in the Manila World University Fair where hundreds of high schoolers and their families and counsellors were in attendance.
USJ was invited to participate in the Manila World University Fair where hundreds of high schoolers and their families and counsellors were in attendance.
Representatives from the USJ International Affairs Office attended the Manila World University Fair organised by the Manila International School Counselors Association (MISCA) and the British School Manila on September 14, 2024.
Prospective students and their families and academic counsellors were able to learn about the programmes offered at USJ, scholarship opportunities and distinct student life. University representatives from Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland, Canada, Australia and more were also in the attendance at the fair, allowing for meaningful exchange and as the sole representative from Macao, it is also the continued commitment of USJ to diversely recruit students who best fit the university culture and to position Macao as one of the key study abroad destinations with Asia emerging on the higher education landscape. Forming close relations with education institutions in ASEAN countries, USJ offers unique scholarship categories for candidates in this region and actively engages in regional outreach activities.
The MISCA is a network of 20 international high schools in Metro Manila, dedicated to each student’s academic success and personal development. Counsellors from the network regularly participate in education fairs and forums in the region, where they encounter universities such as USJ and organises their own events and fairs for students and college representatives to meet.
