OSAA organized the USJ Environmental Artwork Competition on 15 Dec 2022. Students were invited to submit artwork made of recycled materials with the theme of Celebrating the 23rd Anniversary of Macao’s Return to the Motherland.
On 15 Dec 2022, the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) organized the USJ Environmental Artwork Competition. Students were invited to submit artwork made of recycled materials with the theme of Celebrating the 23rd Anniversary of Macao’s Return to the Motherland. It provided a platform for students to work in teams and show their design talents. Through this competition, they also have the chance to get to know the relationship between Macao and mainland better. The judging panel includes: Ms. Emily Chan (Head Librarian), Prof. Sandra Ng (FAH) and Dr. Thomas Lei (ISE). The artworks were graded according to the beauty of the design, the use of recycled materials, and the design elements symbolizing the return of Macao to the Motherland.
Here are the winning teams:
Champion: ESG team (Liang Shiyue, Xie Wanting)
1st Runner-up: 隨便啦 team (Ma Jianjun, Lin Rongsi, Yin Jinli)
2nd Runner-up: GoCrafts team (Sherwin Hng Xuan Wen, Ung Pei Ieng)
Merit: 是旦啦 team (Kou Lok Cheng, Cheong Peng Hou, Tam Sio Teng)
