Prof. Jacky Ho, Dean of FHS, was invited to share in the 2nd Annual “Macao-wide English Essay Competition” online panel discussion on the 27 November 2022.
Hosted by the Macau Professional Speaking Association (MPSA), the 2nd Annual “Macao-wide English Essay Competition” held an online panel discussion focused on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the 27th of November 2022, this year’s theme was “An Inclusive World”. Speakers from different areas were invited to share their thoughts and experience. Professor Jacky Ho, Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences was invited to share on the topic ‘How to Create a Sustainable and Aged-Friendly Society’, his sharing was mainly focused on the relevance of elderly health policy to social service development in Macau, and ways to prepare for the future development of our society.
With the United Nations’ 17 SDGs at its core, the “Macao-wide English Essay Competition” aims to provide a platform for young students to enhance their awareness and thinking skills on global issues, thereby broadening their international perspective and enriching their learning experiences.
