USJ-FAH Explores New Education Models and Collaborations in the Bay Area

On January 17, Prof. Carlos Sena Caires, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), and Prof. Vincent Ho, Visiting Academic of the Department of Architecture and Design of FAH, visited the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China – Zhongshan Institute and Zhonghsan Technician College.
During the encounter, the representatives of both institutions had a harmonious and in-depth exchange on the educational philosophy, academic levels and subjects of each respective institution, and also expressed their views on how to further strengthen future cooperation and exchanges between both sides, and how to promote and build an exchange platform to help cultivate talents for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
During the visit at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China – Zhongshan Institute, both parties exchanged ideas on student/talent training and development planning. They also expressed their views on how to further strengthen future cooperation and exchanges in both regions to provide skilled individuals for the development and expansion of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
The visit to Zhongshan Technician College was aimed at promoting the characteristics and advantages of the education sector in Zhongshan-Macao, creating favorable conditions for the development of scientific research, talent cultivation and industrialization, and promoting high-level academic exchanges and research among faculty and students in the Greater Bay Area.
