On September 19, 2024, a delegation from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), led by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), Prof. Jenny Phillips, and the Head of the Department of Law and Public Policy, Prof. Ansoumane Douty DIAKITÉ, accompanied by the Head of Institutional Development Office of USJ, Mr. David Yang, visited the Faculty of Law at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou. Renowned for its comprehensive legal education and research programs, Sun Yat-sen University serves as a prominent institution in the field of law in China.
During the visit, both faculties engaged in productive discussions regarding potential areas of cooperation, focusing on emerging issues in legal studies.
