USJ participated in the Futurália Education Fair held in Lisbon, Portugal, from March 22 to 25, 2023.
The University of Saint Joseph Macao (USJ) participated in the Futurália Education Fair held in Lisbon, Portugal, from March 22 to 25, 2023.
Futurália is a popular education exhibition in Portugal, bringing together more than 200 school visits and 50,000 visitors annually.
Being the only university from Macao, China, and Asia, USJ attracted numerous booth visits from interested high school students and teachers who wish to pursue a higher degree in Asia. Most prospective students expressed their shared interest in studying abroad, especially in Macao, where they are familiar.
The delegation of USJ, led by Vice-Rector, Professor Álvaro Barbosa, included the Head of Delegation to Portugal, Mr. Francisco Peixoto, and the Head of Communication and Public Relations, Ms. Isadora Leung.
At the Fair, Professor Barbosa delivered a presentation introducing Macao and USJ’s unique history and programmes in liberal arts.
The purpose of participation in this event is to promote the European-style learning environment USJ can provide to international students and professionals simultaneously in close connection with and in Macao and China. USJ stands out as a diversified University with a reputable international platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
