USJ-SED Delegation Visits Hengqin School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School

The two parties held in-depth discussions on potential collaborations for the 2025/2026 academic year.



On the 31st March, a delegation from the University of Saint Joseph’s (USJ) School of Education (SED)  conducted its initial visit to Hengqin School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School, where they were warmly received by Executive Principal Chen Hong, Director Liu and Director Zheng. 

The delegation, led by Prof. Isabel Tchiang, Acting Dean of SED, with Prof. Iris Mak, Programme Coordinator for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Mr. Emil Marques, Head of the Executive Training and Lifelong Learning Office, toured the school’s innovative specialised classrooms, including the Chinese Culture Classroom, AI Classroom, and STEM Classroom.

Furthermore, the two parties held in-depth discussions on potential collaborations for the 2025/2026 academic year, particularly in areas such as organising cultural exchange programs for USJ’s international students to experience Chinese culture at the school, as well as educational cooperation within the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. Both sides expressed their anticipation for more collaborative projects in the future.
