USJ Laboratory of Applied Neurosciences showcased its groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence (AI) research in Applied Neurosciences at the Greater Bay Area Summit on 3rd March, 2024.
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) showcased its groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence (AI) research in Applied Neurosciences at the Greater Bay Area Summit in Shenzhen on 3rd March, 2024. Prof. Alexandre Lobo, Head of the Laboratory of Applied Neurosciences (LAN) at USJ, along with doctoral researcher Ronald Leung, presented the latest developments in AI and robotics technology, alongside Peking University, Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Seoul National University, as well as industry giants like Intel and Gitlab.
The seminar, titled “The Latest Development of AI and Robotics Technology in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau,” provided a platform for discussing cutting-edge advancements and fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Prof. Lobo delivered an insightful talk on “AI Research in Applied Neurosciences at USJ,” highlighting the laboratory’s innovative contributions to healthcare, robotics, and more.
“The opportunity to showcase our research alongside such esteemed institutions and companies underscores the significant strides USJ is making in AI and neurosciences,” said Prof. Lobo. “Our work not only pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in technology but also aims to address real-world challenges, making a tangible difference in people’s lives.”
