In the context of cultivating Brazil-China academic cooperation relations, a MOU was signed between the Consulate General of Brazil in Hong Kong and Macau on behalf of the Federative Republic of Brazil and USJ.
In the context of cultivating Brazil-China academic cooperation relations, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Consulate General of Brazil in Hong Kong and Macau on behalf of the Federative Republic of Brazil and the University of Saint Joseph.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to strengthen the academic exchange between Brazil and the Macao Special Administrative Region, China. Its main objective is to install a brazilian lecturer specialist in the portuguese language, brazilian literature and culture to promote the study of the portuguese language and brazilian literature at the University of Saint Joseph. Yet, this encourages educational and academic cooperation in the field of brazilian literature and the portuguese language within the scope of the Lecturer Programme of the Brazilian Ministry of Education, Instituto Guimarães Rosa (IGR)
In this context, and with effect from this academic year of 2022-2023, the University of Saint Joseph received the first lecturer, Ms Camila Oliveira Macêdo currently collaborating at the Department of Languages and Culture of the institution’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Memorando de Entendimento Celebrado Pelo Consulado Geral do Brasil em Hong Kong e Macau e a Universidade de São José
No contexto de aperfeiçoamento das relações de cooperação académica entre Brasil-China, foi assinado um Memorando de Entendimento entre o Consulado Geral do Brasil em Hong Kong e Macau em representação da República Federativa do Brasil e a Universidade de São José.
O Memorando de Entendimento tem como objectivo fortalecer o intercâmbio académico entre o Brasil e a Região Administrativa Especial de Macau, China, visa à instalação na Universidade de São José de um leitor professor brasileiro, especialista em língua portuguesa, literatura e cultura brasileira, a fim de promover o estudo da língua portuguesa e da literatura brasileira, estimulando assim a cooperação educacional, académica no âmbito do Programa Leitorado do Ministério da Educação Brasileiro do Instituto Guimarães Rosa (IGR).
Neste contexto, e com efeitos a partir deste ano lectivo académico de 2022-2023, a Universidade de São José recebeu a primeira professora leitora, Camila Oliveira Macêdo, que se encontra a colaborar junto ao Departamento de Línguas e Cultura da Faculdade de Artes e Humanidades da instituição.
