USJ and HUFLIT Vietnam Signs Memorandum of Understanding on August 20 to engage in benchmarking activities and explore potential collaborations.
A delegation of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) including Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs Professor Álvaro Barbosa, Programme Coordinator for the Bachelor of Business Administration Professor Alessandro Lampo and Head of Vietnam Recruitment Ms. Ivy Tran visited the dynamic campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages– Information Technology (HUFLIT) on 20 September, 2024. The delegation was warmly welcomed by their Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Ms. Tran My Uyen and International Relations Coordinator Ms. Tran Thuy Tuyet Nhung.
During the ceremony, representatives from USJ and HUFLIT expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming collaborations between the two institutions, emphasising a shared commitment to strengthening academic cooperation in business and language education. The productive discussions focused on student and faculty exchange programs, as well as the creation of dual degree opportunities. These initiatives aim to provide HUFLIT students with pathways to pursue advanced degrees at USJ, while enriching their international experience through Macao’s vibrant cultural and academic environment.
