Prof. Álvaro Barbosa signed MoUs with various universities in Pattaya, Thailand.
From November 18thto November 21st, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) participated in the 1stAssociation of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) and International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU) Joint International Conference and the 16thAUAP General Conference, with the main theme “Developing the Sustainability of Higher Education Institutions in the Digital Era”, held at the Dusit Thani Pattaya Hotel, in Thailand.
To further develop USJ’s network of collaboration in Asia and the Pacific, the university, represented by the Vice-Rector Professor Álvaro Barbosa, signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
MOUs were signed with Korea University of Media Arts (Korea), represented by the President, Jae Won, Yoo; with EMPI Group of Institutions (India), represented by the President, Pankaj Saran; with Daffodil International University (Bangladesh), represented by the Founder and Chairman, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan; with Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (Philippines), represented by the President, Dr. Enrique G. Baking; with American International University (Bangladesh), represented by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna; and, last but not least, with University of Mindanao (Philippines), represented by the Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Eugenio S. Guhao, Jr.
