USJ Students from Department of Design presented their Capstone Projects at Graduation Show at Ilha Verde Campus on 19 June 2020
On Friday, 19 June at 6.00 pm, students from the Department of Design of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), presented their final graduation projects centred on “Duality” and “Transparency” concepts, bringing together diverse projects in the areas of Design and Fashion Design respectively.
A handful of guests and family attended the exhibition; they had the pleasure of observing the students’ capstone projects presentations first-hand. The students presented their most exceptional work with a creative flair in a brief interactive demonstration. The projects were composed of furniture, fashion garments, products, prototypes, photography, and final academic portfolios with all the students’ top work during their 4-year programme at USJ.
Students who participated in the the Bachelor of Design Capstone Projects were Marta Bjerke de Herédia and Cheong Hoi Hang (Athena), supervised by Prof. Ana Filipa Simões.
Students who participated in the Bachelor of Fashion Design Capstone Projects were Chan Ka I (Katherine), Lou, Eva Nga I (Eva), Luana Mesquita (Mona), André Francisco Mariano do Rosario (Effina), Micaela Carolina Ali and Cheong Chi Fong (Scofield), supervised by Prof. Ana Cardoso.
