Twelve students of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) competed in the 3rd “Macao Universities KOM E-sports Games” on the 12th of November 2020.



Twelve students of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) competed in the 3rd “Macao Universities KOM E-sports Games” on the 12th of November 2020.

Organised by the Macao China Electronic Sports Union Federation, this event aims to create a platform to cultivate local e-sports talents, promoting education through competitions and promoting the diversified development of the industry in Macao. The e-sports industry has grew rapidly in recent years and a variety of online pan-entertainment companies have emerged, thus the market’s desire for talent has expanded.

The theme of this year’s Games is “Stay! We Can Win!”, including three e-sports events: “King Glory”, “CS:GO”, and “PES”, plus three non-e-sports events “micro-video creative competition” and “inter-school talent “Competition” and “Friends of Werewolf”. USJ students participated in three of these competitions: “King Glory”, “CS:GO” and “Friends of Werewolf”.
