USJ Students Receive Excellence Award in Youth National Education Competition

Amidst intense competition, the representatives from USJ achieved an outstanding score of 311 points, securing the fifth position and earning the Excellence Award.
On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the National Conditions Education (Macau) Association organized the “GEG Macau Cup – the 16th Youth National Education Competition.” The final competition and award ceremony took place on 6 June, 2024, at JW Marriott Hotel.
Kelly Ke and Howie Luo, student representatives of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), participated in the competition and received the Excellence Award.
The competition was conducted in an inter-university team format, involving mandatory questions, buzzer rounds, and question and answer sessions. The participating teams were ranked based on accumulated scores. Amidst intense competition, the representatives from USJ achieved an outstanding score of 311 points, securing the fifth position and earning the Excellence Award. Both Kelly Ke and Howie Luo are first-year students from the class of Master of Business Administration, with guidance provided by Mr. Andrew Wong, Senior Office of Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA).
This competition provided a platform for the youth of Macao to showcase their understanding of national knowledge and their talents. Through their participation, students from USJ demonstrated exceptional knowledge and profound understanding in significant areas such as China’s ecological civilization construction and the enhancement of new productive forces.
