USJ Office for Student and Alumni Affairs visited the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin to learn about the latest developments and opportunities on the 14th of June 2023.
On the June 14, 2023, all personnel of the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) visited the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, hereafter, In-Depth Cooperation Zone, to learn about the latest developments and opportunities in the area.
The delegation visited the exhibition hall of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, the iCity Hong Kong-Macao, and the Hengqin Rowing Park. In addition, they also visited the Macao-Hengqin Youth Entrepreneurship Valley (Inno Valley HQ), where they toured the Hengqin Entrepreneurship Salon and the Hengqin Human Resources Service Industrial Park, and participated in a discussion and exchange session on the diverse development opportunities and career planning for students and alumni of the USJ in the In-Depth Cooperation Zone.
The delegation was received by personnel from Dai Hengqin Development Co. Ltd., including Ms. Monica Jiang Xin, Executive Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Department, Mr. Jiang Jifa, Senior Recruitment Manager, and Ms. Xu Dan, Macau Talent Services Manager
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain a better understanding of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, its latest developments, and the potential opportunities available to students and alumni of the University of Saint Joseph. The delegation expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and insightful discussions they received during their visit.
