USJ is offering courses on Coursera this academic year, featuring an extensive range of the most in-demand skills you need to grow professionally.

USJ x COURSERA 2022-2023

USJ is offering more courses on Coursera from now until the 30th of June 2023, featuring an extensive range of the most in-demand skills you need to grow professionally.

We are excited to announce that all USJ students and alumni are eligible to enrol in our extra-curricular Programs on Coursera starting until the 28th of November 2022, with limited spots available.

To fulfil different learning needs of our students and alumni, we created the following three Programs, where different specializations and Professional Certificates are recommended.  In general, each specialization/Professional Certificate consists of several courses and each course varies from a few hours up to thirty (30) hours.

You may spend several hours each week on average to make the learning progress and obtain a certificate from the world known universities or leading enterprises, like Google, Meta and IBM to get your job-ready for an in-demand career.

Terms and Conditions to secure a full refund of the depositEach learner must

  1. complete one course in any specialization or professional certificate in the first two months, and
  2. stay active in the Program every ten days.
Each learner must

  1. complete one course in any specialization or professional certificate every two months, and
  2. complete at least one specialization or professional certificate by the 30th of June 2023, and
  3. stay active in the Program every ten days.

To register, you must settle the deposit/payment in advance.  The deposit will only be refunded once you complete any specialization or certificate by following the terms and conditions below.

The deposit or payment must be transferred to USJ Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) via Mpay account 63337660, by the 28th of November 2022.

Terms and Conditions:

MOP$400 is equivalent to the basic monthly charge for each Coursera learner.  Invitation for enrolment will be sent through Coursera by the University once we verify the transaction of the corresponding deposit.  The enrollment is not guaranteed if it is full.

Since the total quantities of the user licenses are limited, to safeguard the right of other interested learners who would like to join,

For USJ student learners, s/he will be removed from a Program if s/he fails toFor USJ alumni learners, s/he will be removed from a Program if s/he fails to
  • become active within one week after being marked as inactive by Coursera, or 
  • complete a course in any specialization or professional certificate every two months.
  • become active within one week after being marked as inactive by Coursera, or

  • settle the monthly payment by the end of each month for the succeeding month for the alumni learners.
