A visit led by USJ Rector Rev. Prof. Stephen Morgan to our long-term supporter of the USJ Community Scholarships and Fellowships Programme.
On the 4th of May 2022, a delegation of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) led by the Rector Reverend Professor Stephen Morgan, Administrator Dr Alejandro Salcedo Garcia, and Director of the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) Ms Teresa Loong, paid a courtesy visit to Sands China Ltd and was warmly welcomed by Mr Sam Chong Nin, Vice President of Corporate Communications & Community Affairs, Mr Lourence Ho, Director of the Human Resources and Miss Catherine Chan, Manager of Community Affairs.
In the meeting, Mr Sam Chong Nin shared the philosophy of Sands China Ltd that the importance of nurturing local talents in Macau and people development is long-term. Rector Morgan highlighted the commitment of USJ as an international university with its mission to bring in worldwide views from international faculties. Mr Sam and Rector Morgan exchanged ideas on possible future collaboration on staff development and the opportunity to organise more events by promoting knowledge and best practices between local and international experts.
Sands China Ltd, as a long-term supporter of the USJ Community Scholarships and Fellowships Programme, Rector Morgan expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Sands China Ltd. for their ongoing support and generosity to us. The meeting ended with presenting a USJ 25th anniversary souvenir to Mr Sam Chong Nin.
