Warm Reception for Zhejiang International Studies University Delegation at USJ

On 6 December, a delegation from Zhejiang International Studies University visited local higher education institutions in Macao, and received a warm reception from Dr. Teresa Loong, Vice Rector of USJ, and the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs of USJ.
A delegation from Zhejiang International Studies University visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) on 6 December 2024 to engage in exchange activities with local higher education institutions. During their visit, they interacted with both international and local students and faculty members of USJ. Subsequently, students from both universities shared aspects of campus life and academic perspectives, concluding the visit with a campus tour.
The exchange session took place in the afternoon. Led by Professor Zhou Jing, Assistant to the Dean of the School of English Studies at Zhejiang International Studies University, a delegation of twenty-seven individuals visited the Ilha Verde Campus of USJ. They received a warm welcome from Dr. Teresa Loong, Vice Rector of USJ, and various departments including the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA). Dr. Teresa delivered a welcoming speech, expressing a hearty welcome to the delegation and introducing the internationalized environment at USJ, along with insights into campus life from students of diverse nationalities. Interactions with students facilitated their understanding of studying in Macao. Lastly, staff from OSAA provided an overview of campus life and information on academic programmes at USJ.
During the campus tour, students visited the residential hall, student lounge, gym room, and the studios of arts disciplines such as architecture, design, communication, media, and digital cinema at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities on the sixth floor of the academic building in the campus.
As a gesture of goodwill, both parties exchanged souvenirs, with USJ expressing gratitude for the delegation’s visit. The commitment to fostering academic, cultural, and interdisciplinary development through continued collaboration and exchange was reiterated for the future.
