Research and Sustainable Development Goals at USJ
USJ is committed to addressing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the Times Higher Education which ranks impact of an institution’s attention to Sustainable Development Goals, USJ continues to be number 1 in Macao; it is in 7th Position in the Greater China region, together with Guangzhou University of Technology and the University of South China. USJ focuses on 10 Sustainable Development Goals, and its scores and impact rankings indicate that it added four new SDGs in 2022 and one new SDG in 2023.
The SDGs that USJ addresses cover a wide range of areas, e.g.: scientific, humanitarian, economic, societal, social justice, community, health, educational, employment, partnerships etc. USJ is committed to furthering its research work in these areas, and it has been very successful here.
