Muhammad Bashir Saidu成功完成他的科學博士論文答辯，題為  “Isolation and Characterisation of Plastic Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Degrading and Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) Producing Bacteria from Soil and Water”。 

Muhammad Bashir Saidu成功完成他的科學博士論文答辯，題為  “Isolation and Characterisation of Plastic Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Degrading and Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) Producing Bacteria from Soil and Water”。 

Muhammad Bashir Saidu博士從澳門本地環境中分離出細菌，這些細菌可以降解塑膠 PET 成分，同時合成生物塑膠。 他的工作有助於推進塑膠污染的生物修復解決方案。 這也是聖若瑟大學與葡萄牙天主教大學（UCP）在共同研究計畫中發展的第一篇論文。

論文公開答辯於2023年11月23日在聖若瑟大學青洲校舍舉行。
