On 19 October, USJ participated in the “Macau Diocese Family Day – The Vocation Begins in the Family“ event organised by the Macau Catholic Diocese.
The event focused on the theme “Future Classrooms, Artificial Intelligence, and Campuses,” bringing together educators and industry experts to explore the potential of AI in education.

On October 19, 2024, the USJ-Kong Hon Academy for Cellular Nutrition and Health, the USJ Faculty of Health Sciences, Macao Jianghan Biomedical Technology Development Group Co. Ltd., and Huajian Pharmaceutical, jointly organised the “Natural Functional Food R&D Exchange Conference and KB-120 Cell Nutrient Sino-Portuguese R&D Cooperation” held at Wynn Palace.

During the exhibition, Prof. George Wencai Du, Dean of the USJ Institute of Data Engineering and Science, presented the innovative result of the “portable tumor risk diagnostic Instrument”, developed by the “IDEAS-Wumin High-tech Joint Laboratory for Health Risk Digital Diagnosis and Equipment”.
Sérgio Ricardo dos Santos Gomes, has successfully defended his doctoral thesis in Business Administration titled: “Economic and Predictive Analysis of the Interaction Between Major Industries in the Economy of Macao”.
USJ Macao launched the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Forum” to foster international collaboration and economic diversification, and to promote opportunities for entrepreneurs and academics in the Greater Bay Area.
With the signing of this protocol, the USJ is now positioned to extend its expertise from the GBA to the business communities of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries and its affiliates.
